Catalogue Note

Tribute 21 was created by Rauschenberg and Felissimo as a collaborative project illustrating their shared belief in the contributions to society achieved by art and design. Together they chose 21 current sociocultural themes and Rauschenberg created images accordingly. Each print is subtitled with the name of a person thought to be making significant impact on our society, and as further indication of this, Felissimo made a large donation to programs chosen by each of these individuals. Portfolios were donated to 21 museums internationally and in hommage to Felissimo's endeavors, Rauschenberg added a 22nd print he fittingly titled Happiness (Felissimo)
