Condition

The prints are in good condition, the full sheets. Very pale mat-stain at the periphery of each sheet. The versos with hinge remnants in the top corners. Additional condition notes include: Black Seated Figure on Orange Ground (Cramer 80): An inconspicuous crease in the extreme right sheet edge at top. Eight Reclining Figures (Cramer 81): Crease (3 5/8 inches) in bottom left corner. Top right corner is creased. An inconspicuous crease in the extreme right sheet edge at top. Three Standing Figures (Cramer 82): Soft handling crease in left sheet edge at top; the extreme top sheet edge at right is creased. Two Seated Women (Cramer 85): Inconspicuous crease in the periphery of the top margin (7 inches). The right sheet edge with a (printer's?) crease at top. The bottom sheet edge at right with an inconspicuous nick. Violet torso on Orange Stripes (Cramer 86): A 3 inch crease in the right sheet edge at bottom. Back-mats for five the collotypes with heavy creasing at right. Back-mats for two collotypes with unobtrusive areas of surface soiling in the top right corner and one with surface soiling in the bottom right corner. Three text pages with creases in the right sheet edge at top. Although Cramer describes the sheets of Cramer 83 & 85 as either Barchram Green or japon nacré and Cramer 83 and 85 are on wove and simili-japan paper, we believe the prints to be authentic.
