The complete portfolio of nine etchings accompanied by a 146 page text by Arturo Schwarz within a red cloth-covered folder inserted into a similarly lined slipcase, 1968, signed in pencil by artist and author on the justification, numbered 123, from the edition of 150, on Filicarta of Cologno Monzese handmade paper with The Large Glass II watermark, text printed by Ruggero Olivieri, Milan, published by Schwarz Gallery, Milan (9 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition, the full sheets. Occasional, inconspicuous soft handling creases and unobtrusive areas of surface soiling. The cloth-covered slipcase with unobtrusive surface soiling, minor wear at the edges and occasional scuff marks on the panels. (The cloth-covered folder with inconspicuous surface soiling at the extreme corners.) Additional minor condition notes include: Plate II: One unobtrusive area of uneven discoloration verso showing through recto and title page. Plate III: Two tiny areas of uneven discoloration at bottom right of the folder's cover page. Plate V: Two flecks of inconspicuous surface soiling in the bottom margin at center. Plate VI: Inside cover of folder's cover page with a 1 1/2 by 1/8 inch skinned area at the extreme bottom sheet edge at center. Plate VII: The bottom right corner of the folder's title page is creased. Plate IX: One tiny fox mark in the top margin at center.
