The complete portfolio of nine etchings, accompanied by 144 facsimile reproductions and text by Arturo Schwarz, organized in a paper wrapper, within a cloth-covered cardboard folder and inserted into a Plexiglass display case, 1967, signed in pencil by artist and author on the justification, numbered 123, from the edition of 150, on Filicarta of Cologno Monzese handmade paper with The Large Glass watermark, printed by Giogio Upiglio, Milan, published by Schwarz Gallery, Milan (9 prints)
Condition
The prints are in good condition, the full sheets. Five prints with unobtrusive soft handling creases in the margins and two with inconspicuous areas of surface soiling. Top Inscription and The Chocolate Grinder with both a creased margin and two small, inconspicuous rectangular areas of skinning. (A few sheets with occasional, very inconspicuous areas of surface soiling, soft handling creases and very pale, inconspicuous time-stain at the extreme sheet edges.)
The Plexiglass display case is in good condition apart from a loss (3/4 inch long) on the spine.
The spine of the cloth-covered cardboard cover is light-stained and there is unobtrusive surface soiling and inconspicuous wear on the panels.
Additional condition notes for individual prints:
Nine Malic Moulds and the Capillary Tubes: (One unobtrusive, tiny fox mark in the bottom margin recto and verso.)
The Chocolate Grinder and the Scissors: (Very pale, inconspicuous time-stain at the extreme sheet edges.)
