This print has a greater range of tones and shows greater detail, especially in the lake and background areas, than is typically seen in later prints, which tend to exhibit more contrast. This remarkable rendering of the image, on double-weight Agfa paper, is in generally excellent condition. There is very slight wear at the margin edges, and the corners are very lightly bumped, with a very small loss at the lower right margin corner tip. These issues do not detract from this print's very fine appearance.
