Both prints are in generally very good condition. There is minor creasing in the margins and corners, with some tiny attendant emulsion loss. Faint fingerprints and soiling are also visible in the margins and on the reverse. When viewed under ultraviolet light, this print appears to fluoresce faintly. (Photographer at Work, pl. 72) Print with cluster of pedestrians at the right side of the composition: On the reverse of the print the following is written in an unidentified hand in pencil: 'EM45' and 'S-129.'
