Description

  • Josef Sudek
  • Landscape
  • gelatin silver print
pigment print, mounted, signed in pencil on the mount, circa 1922

Condition

This warm, brown-toned pigment print, on double-weight paper, is in generally excellent condition. There is a small deposit, likely retouching, at the upper left. The emulsion at the edges of the print is very slightly chipped in a few places. The print is mounted to heavy, textured, cream-colored card that is soiled and unevenly age-darkened overall. '13390' is written in pencil on the reverse.
