mounted, signed, dated, and editioned '2/50' in pencil on the mount, numbered '80N' and dated in pencil on the reverse, 1933 (Conger 728)
Condition
This early print on semi-glossy paper, is in overall very good condition. There are several small, faint scuffs and scratches that are visible under raking light. The highlights appear very slightly warm. Faint silvering in the darkest areas of the print is visible in raking light. There are two very small spots to the right of the sitter, likely foxing.
There is intermittent foxing on the mount, which is a slick, white board. The foxing is most pervasive on the reverse. The edges of the mount are rubbed overall. '76:010:043,' '43,' '43' (circled) / AN,' and 'X-EW 099' are written in pencil in an unidentified hand on the reverse.
