Condition
The catalogue illustration is a little light in tone, the colours in reality are a little darker and richer. The top has lost areas of gilding which now shows a pinkish gesso beneath. Similar deterioration has occurred to the drawer fronts. Overall it remains a decorative piece and the surface is stable. Redecorated as stated in the catalogue.
