To the naked eye: The painting is in relatively satisfactory condition. The painting has been reduced on the 4 sides. It has been lined. It has a dirty varnish. We notice two vertical repaints along the left border. We notice one small repaint (1 cm. diameter) above the ermine on the left of the sitter and another one smaller also above the ermine but on the right. Under UV light: We notice a green thick varnish that has been lighten on the face and the neck of the sitter. We notice some small repaints on the forehead, under her right eye; some very small restoration spots (pinhead) on the face and neck. We notice some repaints along the left border. We notice some repaints on the embroideries and the ermine coat and some small restorations on the background. We notice an old repaint on the red drapery and also on the lower edge.
