Condition

The illustration is accurate despite a little too bright. The varnish of the veneer has slightly turned yellow, which can be amend easily. As visible on the illustration, there are some losses to the veneer on the freize below the drawers. The gilding of the mounts is slightly tarnished and is also rubbed on the rim of the top. The leather top is scratched and should benefit from wax. There are also some circular traces of heavy objects on the leather. The overall is in good condition despite the inevitable scratches and marks throughout due to age and use. Nice model.
