Condition

To the naked eye: Both painting appear in quite good condition excepting losses of painting in the flesh (visible in the catalogue's reproduction). Both canvas had been lined a bit strongly about 30 years ago. We cannot notice any visible restorations. Under the U.V. light: Both paintings appear under a green uniform varnish. We notice some restorations on the faces, the skirt and the red clothes.
