- Pax with Ecce Homo and an applique of Saint John the Baptist

Condition
Overall the condition of the pax is good with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling. There is some rubbing to the silvering and the gilding. Some of the sections are slightly warped, particularly at the edges. There are small losses to the corners of the repoussé Ecce Homo in the centre, the ornament at the top and the lower edge of the handle on the reverse.
The condition of the applique is good with wear and some minor dirt to the surface consistent with age. It has some rubbing to the gilding and a few minor nicks at the high points. There are two small holes for mounting to the sides. It is currently mounted on a modern perspex stand.
