Condition

There is some minor stable craquelure visible on the surface, particularly at the top half. The frame has tarnishing and warping throughout and has lost its handle. There are numerous scratches, particularly on the reverse. The capital on the right has a fissure which was strengthened with a section of gilt copper. Otherwise there is wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling.
