- Miniature reliquary crucifix pendant
- partially enamelled gold
- German, circa 1700
with the Sacred Heart, Crown of Thorns, hands and feet on the reverse
Condition
Overall the condition of the cross is good with some wear and minor dirt to the surface consistent with age. There are small areas of restoration to the enamel at the ends of the upper and lower cross arms at the front and the centre of the lower arm on the reverse. The screw used to lock the lid at the end of the lower arm is lost.
