Condition
Overall the condition of the skull is good with some wear to the surface consistent with age and dirt throughout including some rubbing to the underside of the skull. There are nicks and scratches throughout as well as a few minor chips, including to the ends of the bones, one to the back of the skull, the proper left eye socket, and one of the front teeth. A break to the upper bone was repaired. The skull may have been lacquered or varnished at some point.
The base has wear throughout and may have been repainted. It has some minor worming to the surface consistent with material. The stand on which the skull rests was added later.
