Condition

Overall the condition of the iron is good with wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age and handling. There is corrosion to the surface consistent with the material, and a lacquer has been applied to prevent further corrosion. The lacquer has chipped away in a few areas. There is particular corrosion to the feet. There is some candle wax to the pricket at the top. There is a possible loss or casting flaw to the ring.
