Condition
The painting has been relined, the paint surface has a thick discoloured varnish and has suffered from abrasions and losses along the upper edge and lower right corner, but is otherwise in overall good condition. There are two old 6 cm. repaired tears, in the tail of the swallow upper left, and to the right of the head of the macaw. Inspection under ultraviolet light is effectively impeded by the varnish, but no other major damages or restoration are evident. Offered with a plain gilt wood frame.
