Condition
The canvas has a firm relining. The paint surface is secure and clean, although the paint has thinned somewhat in the sky. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals small scattered retouchings in the sky. There is a band of retouching measuring approximately 3 cm wide running along all four margins. The buildinds and figures are largely free of retouchings.
The work is offered in a gilt molded frame in good condition.
