Condition

The panel is uncradled. The paint surface is stable, and the varnish is even and only slightly discoloured. There is some minor frame abrasion in the lower margin and a tiny loss in the lower left hand corner. The varnish fluoresces opaquely under ultraviolet light and so does not reveal any early restorative work. In overall good condition. Offered in a gesso moulded gilt frame with some losses.
