Condition

The painting has a firm relining, the paint surface is stable and the varnish appears clear and even. No major damage is visible to the naked eye, only some minor surface scratches in the lower left corner. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals a small amount of scattered retouchings and strengthenings, the biggest concentration of which are along the upper margin in the sky. The painting is in good overall condition. Sold in a carved and gilt wood frame in good condition.
