Catalogue Note
Having inspected this picture in the original, Fred G. Meijer from the Netherlands Institute for Art History has tentatively suggested a possible attribution to Jan Potheuck (1626-1670). However, there being only a single signed example of this artist's work, it is difficult to confirm this.1
