Condition

In good overall condition. The panel is uncradled and is formed of two parts, the horizontal join visible on the reverse. The varnish appears clear and even with no major damages visible. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals localised retouchings throughout the sky and in the lower left foreground, some of which have slightly discoloured and are visible to the naked eye. Offered in a plain wood frame with ripple mouldings in the Dutch style, with a gilt sight edge.
