Condition
The panel is uncradled, flat and stable with no signs of movement. The paint surface is dirty. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a thick varnish and some small retouchings in the sky, along the upper margin, in a patch of cloud in the centre, 6 cm., and along a scratch leading down from this area, 10 cm. long.
This lot is offered in a plain wooden frame in good condition.
