Condition

The canvas has a firm relining. Traces of good quality impasto are visible in the white highlights. The paint surface is secure, stable and clean. Craqulure is visible next to the left arm, in the chest, around the right hand, in the forehead, in the lower part of the dress and in the upper left and right, in the foliage. Retouching is visible to some of this craqulure. A retouching to a paint loss measuring approximately 1 by 1 cm is visible just to the left of the head. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals an even varnish and no further retouchings.
