Condition

The panel, composed of a single plank of wood, is uncradled. The panel has a slight convex curve. The paint surface is secure, stable and very clean. The colours are vibrant. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals an even and opaque varnish which makes it difficult to detect any retouchings, although none are visible to the naked eye other than some discoloured retouchings in the upper branches of the tree and in the grassy area directly behind the tree. Overall the work is in excellent condition. The work is offered unframed.
