comprising the portraits of a lady with silk and applique white dress, a Queen in silk and white applique dress, King Wilhem Friederich III of Prussia (signed X. Houberger, 1840), a Bishop, a Lady in profile in black dress (signed F. Brugger fecit 1806), a lady in profile in red dress, a gentleman in profile (signed J. Hagbolt), a bishop in profile (signed J. Hagbolt)

Condition

1- 36 x 18cm. (lady with silk and applique white dress: In need of restoration, breaks, repaired breaks, tarnishing to wax, silk fabric with tears 2 - 28,5 x 22cm (Queen) - In need of restoration, breaks to fingers, crown possibly a later addition, with inventory labels to back 3 - 24,5 x 22,5cm (King Wilhem Friederich III of Prussia) - In good condition, some dust inside of case, with inventory labels to back, signed to lower right 4 - 17 x 14,5cm (bishop) - In need of restoration, figure loose ibnside the case,, set on a faded red velvet case, with inventory labels to back 5 - 26 x 22cm (Lady in profile in black dress) - frame regilt, figure with break to neck and nose, signed botton center. 6 - 16,5 x 16,5 (Lady in profile in red dress) - in need of clean 7 - 15 x 12,5 (portrait of gentleman in profile) - In restored condition with break lines visible, small losses, with inventory labels to back 8 - 17,5 x 14,5 (portrait of clerical in profile): in need of clean, cracks to base, glass loose, with inventory labels to back For all sales which take place on or after 1 February 2015, please note that the rate of buyer's premium for each lot (charged as a percentage of the hammer price achieved for that lot) has been revised and shall be calculated at the thresholds set out below: Buyer's premium is 25% of the hammer price up to and including £100,000; Buyer's premium is 20% of the hammer price on any amount in excess of £100, 000 up to and including £1,800,000; Buyer's premium is 12% of the hammer price on any amount in excess of £1,800,000.
