  • 248cm. 8ft. 1¾in. high
9¾-inch dial with scroll spandrels, knurled centre and cow-tail pendulum, the 30-hour movement of birdcage form with verge escapement, outside count wheel striking on the remote bell mounted within the top of the case, a pinned wooden cylinder playing one of eight tunes at the hour on a fifteen note metallophone, the case with moulded cresting above broken-arch cornice with foliate brass fret, rectangular trunk door and shaped plinth with moulded base, inlaid with panels of parquetry and foliate marquetry

Condition

Dial in good condition. Movement is complete and running at time of cataloguing but may benefit from a clean, one bracket to the metallophone replaced. Case is possibly associated and is in good clean restored condition.
