Condition
The canvas is unlined. There is slight frame rubbing on the verso along the left and lower margin and some very slight wear in the wolf's ear and eye, and in the upper left hand corner in the reds and browns. The paint surface is secure and there are no apparent damages.
This lot is offered in a carved gilt frame, as illustrated in the catalogue, with some very minor surface scratches, but otherwise in good condition.
For all sales which take place on or after 1 February 2015, please note that the rate of buyer's premium for each lot (charged as a percentage of the hammer price achieved for that lot) has been revised and shall be calculated at the thresholds set out below:
