Description
- beechwood, walnut
- 113cm. high, 225cm. wide, 88cm. deep; 3ft. 8½in., 7ft.4in., 2ft. 10¾in.
the moulded cresting rail centered by paterae and continuing to open scrolling leaf carved arms, all raised on fluted tapering legs, the whole upholstered in later silk damask
Condition
In overall good condition. Gilding, which has a nice understated tone, is probably re-done. Joint cracks. There are some minor losses to the gilding and old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Upholstery in good condition, with small tear to back left hand side. Middle left leg has been broken and repaired.
