the first, the portrait of a lady in a blue dress with ribbons in her hair, French school, circa 1775, aquarelle and gouache on ivory, oval within a later rectangular frame, 4.5cm., 1 3/4 in high ; second, a profile of a lady, pencil on prepared paper, probably French School, late 18th century, within a modern graduated rectangular gilt metal frame, 4.2cm., 1 5/8 in high ; third, the portrait of a lady in a white dress, aquarelle and gouache on ivory, French School circa 1830, rectangular, within a gilt wood frame, inscribed on the reverse 'portrait of Miss Jarman/ C. Ford, June 17 / 1830'cracked, 10cm., 4 in high ; a portrait of a gentleman in 17th century style, oil on copper, probably 18th century, oval within wood frame, 7.7cm., 3 in high ; the portrait of a minstrel and his companion, late 19th century, on ivory, within a velvet and leather frame, 6cm., 2 3/8 in. high ; the last, an enamel plaque, said to be a portrait of Mrs Abingdon, with paper label 'Kate Macy Ladd miniature collection', oval within a gilt wood frame, late 19th century, 7.3cm., 2 7/8 in. high

Condition
