Condition
This miniature is very well preserved and the colours are bright and strong. The glass is hazy and should be cleaned.

Catalogue Note
Henri Barnabé Leroux dit Henry naquit à Paris en 1772. Comédien fort adroit, Henry devint l’un des comédiens de prédilection du théâtre du Vaudeville dés son ouverture. Il y resta trente ans. Il parut une dernière fois sur scène le 25 novembre 1821 pour une représentation en son honneur avant de se retirer des planches. Il finit sa vie buraliste, rue des Martyrs à Paris.
