Condition
The painting would benefit from a light cleaning : the varnish has yellowed a bit.
The composition is sold with its old beautiful frame, which is probably the original frame. The oil lies on a cradled panel.
Under UV light, minor repaints are visible on the person in the background on the left, on the person wearing a black cape, on his costume. Also, two slim repaints are visible on the woman's blue dress, on the balcony rail and in the sea, next to it.
An opening crack was filled on the left, along the frame.
The composition is in very good condition overall.
