Condition
The painting would benefit from a light cleaning : the varnish has slightly yellowed.
Under UV light, one can observe that a few cracks have been filled in the sky; and two lines of repaints are visible on the lower left. The painting is generally in good condition.
The oil is on its original canvas from Otoz, élève de Belot (Belot's student), and framed in a nice frame with a leafy décor.
