Catalogue Note

The initials are probably those of Charles and Maria Ten Broeck Broadhead, m. in June 17, 1724. Tobias Stoutenburg married Maria Ten Broeck, April 29, 1733, presumably a cousin.

Cornelis Ten Broeck b. 3/6/1706, died 1772, was the youngest child of Wessel Ten Broeck and Caatje Loockerman.  He is listed in the directory as a 'Merchant and Citizen of Albany.' On October 11, 1733, (in Albany) he married his first cousin Maria Cuyler, the daughter of Elsie Ten Broeck and Johannes Cuyler. Maria had been baptized in NYC on November 25, 1702.
