the first engraved D.D. Levick, by John McMullin, Philadelphia; the second with swan head terminals and engraved ANN FRY, with a chatelaine hook engraved with foliate initials IL, by Edward Lownes, Philadelphia.

Condition

the first with wear and staining to leather, one side largely detached from frame, the chain with two string repairs; the second with velvet rubbed at edges, the interior fabric torn and deteriorated; the frames in good working condition
