the first with frame engraved Ann Penrose, with maker's mark HJP; the second with bright-cut decoration, one side engraved Sarah L. Gazan, probably George Gordon, Augusta, GA, c. 1840-47.
Condition
the first with some small areas of missing beads and beaded fringe, one side partly detached from frame; the second with some areas of engraving rubbed, one thread hole with repairs; both frames in good, working condition
