molded on the rim with foliate-scroll-edged panels of dot- and star-diaperwork alternating with basketwork, splashed with green, ochre, gray and brown.

Condition

The is an area of restoration to the rim in the center of one short rim; a further area of restoration to the rim above one shell motif and an adjacent restored rim chip; there is a haircrack running from the rim for approximately inwards towards the center; some wear to the glaze on the interior giving it a slightly matte appearance
