the chair marked XI and the original slip seat frame marked I; with carved back, arms carved in the shape of eagles, ball-and-claw feet, and gadrooned apron.

Condition
Proper left side knee return replaced, back of chair sun bleached, arms had been later overupholstered and henceforth removed, the proper right arm with a 1 3/4 in. by 3/4 in. surface patch, the chair has been refinished.
