Catalogue Note
This copy has 12 leaves in quire A, not 8 as announced in the register and as found in some copies. The quire was reprinted by Aldus soon after initial publication in order to include 24 exempla from a manuscript recently supplied to him from Vienna by Cuspiniano, to whom Aldus addresses a second preface, dated April 1503.
