8vo (176 x 110mm.), woodcut vignette on title-page, woodcut initials, typographic headpieces, CONTEMPORARY PARISIAN BROWN MOROCCO ELABORATELY GILT, spine gilt in compartments, gilt edges, paper flaw on F3 with slight loss of text, a few marginal wormholes (particularly at head of quires BB-CC), bookplate removed from flyleaf, extremities slightly rubbed with a few small repairs
