Pierre de Chevrier, baron de Fancamp (1608-1692), arms on binding; inscription on second flyleaf stating that Gilles Boisseau, a student of the Jesuit college of La Flèche, was presented with this book on behalf of Pierre de Chevrier on the first kalends of September 1637, and signed by Jean Chevalier, prefect of the college, with the college seal below; Du Ressort, inscription on title-page; a canon of Caen, inscription on title-page; woodcut armorial bookplate containing the arms of Louis XVI of France and Navarre and his consort Marie Antoinette of Austria; inscription in Greek on flyleaf dated 1827
