Catalogue Note
Rare. Callas sang Amina at La Scala under Bernstein in 1955 and under Antonino Votto in 1957 (which became an EMI/Angel recording). She is seen here carrying the bouquet in the final scene, in front of the mill-wheel, over which she takes her perilous walk during her final aria "Ah! non credea mirarti", recalling her happiness with her former betrothed Elvino.
