Catalogue Note

Isabelle Hood married Adolphe Duchêne de Vère (b.1809), one of Berlioz's major supporters in London. Camillo Sivori was the leader of Berlioz's orchestra during his highly important concerts for the New Philharmonic Society in London in 1852.
