116 issues, square 4to (each approx. 327 x 327mm.), all in original printed wrappers with illustrations by different artists, woodcut by Lion Cachet loosely inserted into issue 7/8 for 1919, first 8 issues with Technisch Gedeelte loosely inserted, printed on folded sheets and sewn with raffia in the oriental style, a few with hard covers, some wrappers chipped or creased at edges

Catalogue Note

A COMPLETE SET of the influential Dutch architecture magazine, which was founded by H.T. Wijdeveld. Each issue has its own specifically designed cover (one by El Lissitzky), and most issues relate to a specific subject. The majority cover architectural subjects, particularly modernist architecture, with several issues on Frank Lloyd Wright, and including commercial, civil, industrial and ecclesiastical architecture. There are also issues on Russian icons, national and tribal art, individual artists (including Diego Rivera and Gustav Klimt), interiors, ceramics, stamps, bookplates, and cars.
