Catalogue Note
The "Blue Danube" is the most famous of all waltzes and one of the best-loved works in the entire classical repertory. It was first published as An der schönen blauen Donau in Vienna in 1867. Whilst not generally uncommon, we have seen no similar quotation from the "Blue Danube" for fifteen years.
