Catalogue Note
The 76 engravings have been cut out of a copy of Achille Bocchi's Symbolicarum quaestionum libri quinque (Bologna, 1555); the complete book should contain 151 engravings by Bonasone, some of which are after Prospero Fontana and Parmigianino. The three larger engravings are from Bonasone's Amori sdegni et gielosie di Giunone, numbers 6, 11 and 15.
