Catalogue Note

Rare: COPAC records only the British Library copy of this edition in the UK.  Autograph material and first editions by Nielsen, whose 150th anniversary is celebrated this year,  are rarely offered for sale.  Nielsen presented this copy to Tobias Wilhelmi (1885-1944), the leader of the Royal Swedish Opera orchestra in Stockholm and also a composer himself.
