Catalogue Note

The success of the Polish composer Henryk Górecki (1933-2010) was almost unparalleled among modern classical composers, especially in the early 1990s, when his Third Symphony was recorded and issued commercially.   The Concerto for Piano or Harpsichord op.40 dates from 1980; here the harpsichord rather then piano is indicated.
