  • Three autograph musical quotations signed by Roger Quilter, Sir Arthur Bliss and Granville Bantock, including
  • PAPER
QUILTER. From 'To Daisies', from the song-cycle To Julia op.8, the words by Herrick, comprising the opening three bars of the vocal line, here notated in the high key of D-flat major, on an album-leaf, c.9 x 14cm, 1935--BLISS. 'The Fairfield Motet', notated on seven staves for mixed voices, imitating the barking and growling of poodles, a spaniel and a Great Dane, with the words "Sesame, Fifi" & "Stop those dogs",  c.11.5 x 17cm, 27 March 1955--BANTOCK. From an apparently unrecorded work in B minor, comprising six bars marked "con anima", together with an autograph envelope enclosing the manuscript to the poet and musicologist Otto de Grieff, London, 28 October 1936
